Bangladesh’s envoy to Bhutan meets President
BSS: Ambassador of Bangladesh to Bhutan Shib Nath Roy paid a courtesy call on President M Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban here this (November, 22) evening.
During the meeting, the envoy sought the President's directive and overall cooperation in carrying out his assignment in Bhutan, President's press secretary Md Joynal Abedin told BSS later the meeting.
Mentioning the excellent bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Bhutan, the Head of State asked the newly appointed Bangladesh ambassador to strengthen this tie in days to come.
On the occasion, President Secretary Sampad Barua, Military Secretary Major General SM Salahuddin Islam, Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin and Secretary (attached) Md Wahidul Islam Khan were also present.
